#well that’s nice   #but i like hair dye and shoes and bras (seriously who with boobs doesn’t want a bra???) and lipstick and vogue   #and i don’t see why any of these things have to be mutually exclusive   #there is no wrong way to be a girl   #THERE IS NO WRONG WAY TO BE A GIRL   #also wow what a weird equivalent ‘jeans’ or ‘skiing’   #thanks i’d reather have the jeans   #‘a bra or a canoe trip’   #thanks i’d rather have the bra   #and also i’m sorry but skype means i can always choose lipstick   #just   #fuck this noise   #don’t have stereotypically feminine things!!! have these other things you don’t actually want instead!!!!

I love lipstick and lipgloss, and don’t mind spending money on these things.
Skype exists. Also, I have a long-distance plan, so it isn’t a problem to call a friend in another country.
Fuck this list and its weird shame vibe.

I don’t want the tanning or the massage, so I guess if this is a la carte I want to sub in both the highlights AND the groceries. I can do that, right?

Hahaha my favorite part of this is that, barring the groceries, the “frivolous” stuff in the left column lasts a whole lot fucking longer, is way more useful, and is cheaper in the long run than the “worthwhile” stuff in the right, basically.LIKE SERIOUSLY WHO WOULD RATHER HAVE A SKI RESORT LIFT TICKET THAN A PAIR OF NICE JEANS.

BROFIST
My last pair of really nice, cost-of-a-lift-ticket jeans finally needed to be retired after SEVERAL YEARS of washing-and-wearing. Anyway, skiing costs too much once you factor in all the shit you have to wear to do it.
Did I mention that I have definitely had both the 1200-mile road trip gas expenses and the shoe purchase recently? But not uncomfortable shoes: I am not an idiot who spends money on shoes I don’t want to even wear, god.
The road trip is over and left to my rotting memory but I still have the shoes and they are still bitchin’.
