He didn’t offer me any kind of alternative, except to buy new frames and lenses, which I could not afford there because everything is an expensive brand name and my lenses cost a fortune. I didn’t expect him to fix it, but I just wanted him to make an effort that wasn’t “Buy new glasses!”
